This policy explains what information איקס עיגול אבי סטרול ("we", "the Service"), the football trivia games at https://www.ligathaalx.com/, collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Using the Service without an account

You can browse and look around without an account. Saving your progress requires signing in with Google.

Signing in is handled by Google. We never see or receive your Google password. When you sign in, Google shares with us only the basic profile information you approve on Google's sign-in screen:

Your Google account identifier — to recognise you each time you sign in, so you always return to the same account.
Your email address — to identify your account and to contact you about your account.
Your name — shown to you while you set up your account. It is never used as your public nickname.
Your profile picture — shown to you while you set up your account. It is not used as your public picture.

We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, Drive, calendar or any other Google account data. We keep your Google account identifier, email address, name and profile-picture address with your sign-in record in our database.

You can remove the Service's access to your Google account at any time in your Google Account settings.

Information you choose to provide

A nickname — your public name in the Service.
A favourite club.
A profile photo (optional) — if you upload one, we store a resized copy with its embedded information (such as camera details or location) removed.
Nicknames you played under before accounts existed — if you ask us to find your past games, we use the nicknames you enter to search for them, and keep a record of that request.

Your games and progress

Grid games — your answers, score, time and the date of each game.
Passport progress — the players you found, your stages, points and completed countries.
Scores and leaderboard positions derived from the above.

When you are signed in, this is saved on our servers under your account, so you can continue on any device by signing in again.

What other players can see

Leaderboards and player cards show your nickname, your profile photo if you uploaded one, your favourite club, and your scores and progress. Your Google name, Google profile picture and email address are not shown to other players.

Technical and usage information

Identifiers stored in your browser — a random identifier kept on your device, and a device identifier calculated from your browser's characteristics. They are saved with your Grid games to run the game and keep results fair.
Your browser's storage and a sign-in cookie — to keep you signed in and remember your choices on this device (for example, the club you were playing).
Usage measurement — we count daily-grid views per browser, and we use Google Tag Manager to load site measurement tools, which may set cookies and collect information such as the pages you visit and your device and browser type.

How we use information

To run the games, save your progress and show leaderboards.
To create and identify your account and keep it the same across devices.
To keep results and leaderboards fair.
To contact you about your account, for example to confirm that it was created.
To understand how the Service is used and improve it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use the information we receive from Google for advertising.

Advertising

Some pages show advertisements served by Google AdSense. They are clearly labelled and never placed over a game. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.

Service providers

Apart from the advertising cookies described above, we do not share your information with third parties for their own purposes. It is processed only by the providers that run the Service for us:

Vercel — website hosting.
Microsoft Azure — our database (hosted in Europe) and server functions.
Google — sign-in, sending account email, site measurement (Google Tag Manager) and advertising (Google AdSense).

Your choices

Change your nickname, favourite club and profile photo in your profile at any time.
Remove the Service's access to your Google account in your Google Account settings.
To ask for a copy of, a correction to, or the deletion of your account and the information connected to it, email us at ligat.haal.xo@gmail.com.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
